LYN COLLINS: TAKE ME AS I AM [DECADES DL EDIT]

Wonderful slow burnin’ funk’n’soul edit of Lyn Collins“Take Me Just As I Am” by DL from the Australian producer duo Decades. The original was released on the 1975 album “Check Me Out If You Don’t Know Me By Now”, which was produced entirely by the incredible James Brown.
DL know show to keep the charme of the source when he is touching a tune. Another good example is his edit of Shuggie Otis “Aht Uh Mi Hed” which I posted a while ago. Click and discover again!

LYN COLLINS: GIVE IT UP TURN IT LOOSE [LEE CADENA REMIX]

A remix of Lyn Collins‘ funky soul hit “Give It Up, Turn It Loose” [1974], a cover version of the James Brown tune from 1969.
Thank you, Lee Cadena, for this extended version! Well done! It’s a real listening pleasure!
