CEE-ROO: BEGGIN’ FOR SOUL POWER [FEAT. FRANKIE VALLI, MACEO PARKER & THE TEMPTATIONS]

begginforsoulpower

Another excellent mashup by swiss producer Cee-Roo. On “Beggin’ For Soul Power” he combines the former Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli, the saxophone authority Maceo Parker and the Motown soul band The Temptations. A groovin’ and very funky soul number is the result.
“Beggin’ For Soul Power” is really good fun. It’s not a poor joke!

JAMES BROWN VS MACEO PARKER: AIN’T IT FUNKY NOW/UPTOWN UP

JamesBrownMaceoParker

The american funk and soul jazz saxophonist Maceo Parker started his career as member of James Brown‘s band in the 1960s.
Some unknown producer is getting this band back together with a mashup of James Brown‘s instrumental hit “Ain’t It Funky Now” from 1969 and Maceo Parker‘s “Uptown Up” from 1988.
Uploaded to soundcloud three years ago this work had less than 350 plays before this post. Sorry, but that is a shame!
Whoever produced this tune is a genius!
